BLUE MAFIA is the brain-child of guitarist Tony Wray. In 2011, BLUE MAFIA was formed out of love for his wife Dara (who so badly wanted to play music!) With hopes of playing a few times a year, opportunities and response grew far more than they ever dreamed, catapulting BLUE MAFIA on this journey.

Their debut album, My Cold Heart, was released in May of 2013 and received many great reviews and radio airplay.
In June of 2014, they caught the attention of Pinecastle Records and were signed! Released on February 10, 2015, Pray For Rain showcases the maturity and musicianship of this great band. Their 3rd album, Hanging Tree, is set to be released on December 9, 2016. The single, Like A Mining Man, should be hitting the airwaves soon!

BLUE MAFIA has had many great opportunities come their way. Some performance highlights include:
The Station Inn (Nashville, TN), DelFest (Cumberland, MD), BeanBlossom Bluegrass Festival (IN), MerleFest (Wilkesboro, NC), and Graves Mountain (Syria, VA).

Check out a show and see what the buzz is all about!

Our boy Calib has decided to leave the band at the end of the year. We'll sure miss him but support his decision. Can't wait to see what the future holds for Calib and for Blue Mafia!
