BLUE MAFIA is the brain-child of guitarist Tony Wray. In 2011, BLUE MAFIA was formed out of love for his wife Dara (who so badly wanted to play music!) With hopes of playing a few times a year, opportunities and response grew far more than they ever dreamed, catapulting BLUE MAFIA on this journey.

BLUE MAFIA has produced some mighty fine music in their short time together. From their independent debut album, My Cold Heart (2013) to their most recent album on Pinecastle Records, Hanging Tree (2016) -  "There's something wonderfully unpredictable about Blue Mafia" (Parcbenchlive.com)

BLUE MAFIA has had many great opportunities come their way. Some performance highlights include:
The Station Inn (Nashville, TN), DelFest (Cumberland, MD), BeanBlossom Bluegrass Festival (IN), MerleFest (Wilkesboro, NC), and Graves Mountain (Syria, VA).

Exciting News

2015 has already proven to be a growing year for Blue Mafia, and it's only February! We just released our album on Pinecastle Records, and the reviews and radio airplay are letting us know we're on a good path. So what else is new, you may ask? We just started working with Jason Grubb. He's an amazing artist manager and booking agent. He has taken on the role of booking our band, and we're so fortunate for this new relationship! On top of that, we are blessed to have a wonderful friend and Manager, Eric…Read more

What a year!

2014 has been very good to us, and we're so excited to see what the new year brings. Be sure to ask for us at your favorite festivals! Here's to a prosperous new year!

Whew, what a weekend!

We had such an amazing time this past weekend in Nashville! Thursday night, we visited our friend Marcia Campbell on her WSM All-Nighter radio show, Friday hosted a Halloween part at the Station Inn, Saturday played Antique Archaeology, and Saturday night Tony played the Grand Ole Opry! Sure was a fun-filled, jam packed weekend...and we'd do it all over again!

Nashville here we come!

It's that time of year- when you carve pumpkins with your buddies and feast on Halloween candy! While having a pumpkin carving party is something Tony and I enjoy, this weekend we're heading south...to Nashville.
We've got lots of great fun planned for our 3 days, and can't wait to share with you all.
WSM radio show, The Station Inn, Antique Archaeology, and the Grand Ole Opry...whew, it's gonna be a dandy!
So stay tuned for some updates - something crazy always happens when you travel with these guys :)
